I've never seen as many bandwagon hawk fans as I do tonight.
My facebook is flooded with hawkeye fans who don't even know what football is...

no kidding. people i've never seen even *mention* the hawkeyes on facebook are posting hawk crap. I post that the game was boring, and get a monster thread of replies.

True. Not sure who Tech played non-con, outside of Georgia who murdered them, but Cincy had a nice road win at Oregon State.

I think Cincy v. Iowa would have been a MUCH more competitive game than Tech v. Iowa. Cincy's strengths don't run straight into Iowa's like Tech's did.

More competitive game with Brian Kelly. Without him, not so sure.

Then you could say the same thing about Tech as well. Is it a gimmick when you do it all the time. Every team plays to their strengths. Iowa plays to it's defense, ISU and NW play to whatever happens to be working at the time, and Tech runs the ball 9 out of 10 plays.

The thing about all of those teams is that they can move away from something when it isn't working, and have a fighting chance w/something else. Tech has the run game, and when that's broken they don't have a chance in hell at doing anything else, as evidenced by Josh Nesbitt.

Yeah, but they have about a month to bone up on their football before the Hawks play in the Super Bowl. They do get into that for winning this Orange game, right?
