I didn't get to start the gameday thread today (did last week for Texas). Oh well, all that matters is that we are going to beat the Jayhawks and get a game closer to that sweet victory, number six, that will lead us to a bowl game baby! GO CYCLONES!!

I am trying to remember if there ever was a time that we were favored by 20 points in football... I know KU has been poor this year, but 20 points!? Let's go Cyclones!!! Prove that last week's game was a sign of what's to come!!!

LETS GO CYCLONES! BEAT THE JAYHAWKS!

Yeah, that just happened.
A very nice tailgating crowd showing up. Beautiful night last night with a bit more donor lot RVers than average. First donor lot tailgaters showed up around 7 AM. Most are optimistic but cautious about the game. Go Cyclones!!!

what are everyones keys to the game today?

for me on offense:
1. Get points on the board early. Take whatever fire they have for this game out of them immediately.
2. Like every game establish the run early and beat them through the air on play action

on defense:
1. stuff the run and and make their third string quarterback beat you. I know people are worried about a break out performance but hes third string for a reason.
2. continue to generate pressure up front especially on pass plays. it's mecham's first ever big 12 game so hit him hard and shake whatever confidence he has. Last week it was great and if its as good this week we may hold them under 10.

general:
1. kirby needs to pin them deep when we have to punt, win the field position battle. very key last week.
2. win the turnover battle. ISU is good at this and needs to continue to be so.

I'm going 34-10 ISU

Too many stars. I expect better from a PhD student......

Oh, and GO CYCLONES!!!!!

PhD student in engineering. The stars are actually standard practice among engineering students, its the only way we get people to pay attention to what we write. Well, that and by writing amazing articles on things that haven't been done before, but more on that when my article comes out sometime this spring.
