***OFFICIAL FARMAGEDDON PREDICTION THREAD***

I predict that Rhoads will look very subdued.....unusually so....in the second half.
I predict that Bibbs will have a touchdown.
I predict that KSU will rush for 275 yards.
ISU will successfully kick two fieldgoals. Miss zero. That is good.

Gameday, reporting from Ames:

Following what was apparently an all night Gordita bender, the Old Man was found on the floor of the local Taco Bell mens room wearing only a big goofy smile. An EMT on the scene commented that he had "Shined a light in his eyes and, basically there was no one home at that address. ... It musta been one too many packets of that mean green. That's some nasty stuff, now."

The shift manager could not be reached for comment, but a patron will large yellow feet was witnessed by a passer by making s getaway at around 4 am behind the wheel of a 1950's vintage fire truck while yelling "Live Mas, Amigo!!!".

Officials at Mary Greely Hospital here in Ames, where the old Man is being kept in an induced coma, stated that "we've seen a few of these cases, although this would be our first septegenarian". The good news .. A hospital spokesman, moments ago, identifyiing himself as "Cyclone" Jerry, stated that "We expect a speedy recovery. Bill should have no problem making the team bus out of town this afternoon."

Through last night, the only question being asked by Cyclone Nation was, "How can the Purple Kitties not cover 12 points?" .But with the Old Man out of action, it looks like there could be Joy In Mudville tonight. Reporting for Gameday, on the ground in beautiful Ames, Iowa, this is Sam Ponder. Back to you, Kirk!

I'm pretty much in the same boat as CW. It wouldn't absolutely shock me if ISU made it a game. Excluding last year, they've always made it close against KSU in the Rhoads era. But I'll have to see it before I believe it. My prediction -
KSU 37 ISU 24.
