Official Duke Postgame Thread

What does "sportsmanship prevails" mean?!? Mike Patrick said it at the buzzer.

Sad night, Duke is going to beat a lot of teams by 20+ this year though. Rebounding will continue to be our downfall. Colvin is going to be a stud for us by the end of the year, If he can keep under control a bit more, he will be starting over DG by next year.

Duke is really fundamentally sound. They defend, the space the floor really well, they have an identity on offense, the shoot a lot of free throws and make most of them and they can shoot the three. Really hard to beat a team like that unless they are really off and you are really on. They are just better than we are.

i think that gmac has realized that we just cannot have lucca on the floor when there are at least 3 guards/players who have at least a decent first step. he can't defend a major conference level guard.

Think about it. We played the worst game of the year in my opinion and it was still a few missed buckets away from a close one for awhile......not too bad. We'll be fine, just gotta stay together.

Watching the Duke game..........

and I could not finish with 5 minutes left. After watching Garret throw the ball away I had to register here to vent. He is not a point guard that can run a team period

Played good in parts.

Really need to improve rebounding, turnovers, and "pounding" the ball inside.

defense, playing faster

I think the last is the biggest difference in this game. On offense you knew what we were going to do because it was in slow motion. On defense we couldn't keep up.

By no means the end of the world. Duke has a legit shot at the NC this year.

Re: Watching the Duke game..........

Fail.

DG for the most part played very well tonight.

DG >>>>>>> Colvin right now.

I guess only teams like Duke, North Carolina, and Kansas have sportmanship. I kind of use to like Mike Patrick and Jay Billias until they announced this game.
