MLB: ***Official Cubs Offseason Thread***

Red Sox, Yankees, Twins, Athletics, Mets, Blue Jays, Pirates, Brewers, Diamondbacks, Rays, Cardinals, White Sox, Braves and Nationals are out of the running for Ohtani.

Not mentioned: Cubs.

I would give anything to get him. Fixes one pitching need. Gets a few spot starts in the outfield.

Sounds like he wants to be with a west coast team. Seattle are frontrunners
 
Don't know much about him but I do remember believe he threw a shutout against us in Wrigley I think in the 2016 season.

Sounds like the Cubs are wanting to make a deal with Alex Cobb either today or tomorrow with the idea they can focus on other needs during the Winter Meetings.

Gonna have five two's in our rotation.

Gotta find two relievers and probably one more bat to improve last years team.
