While a cool bar/site, it’s like a $35 Uber Drive one way. On top of the probably $300 I’d throw down in the 9 straight hours I’d spend in the bar....

Much smaller scale but getting Sling during basketball season has been such a better investment for if ISU is on ESPNU (don't have it) or whatever vs. going to a bar and dropping the same cost for a month of the service.

Haven’t had cable for over 5 years now. Honestly, users of reddit do a phenomenal job of providing streaming links, a lot of them HD, where as long as I have ad block, I can pull it up on my laptop and watch it on my tv for free, crystal clear.

Yeah, the DC alumni group is trying to set up something at the game watch location, but with it being a 4pm kick instead of a noon kick, that’s a LOT of time to spend in the bar.

$300 ... after tip let’s assume 20%. You have $250 to spend. One cocktail an hour and two lunches, no way you’re at $250. Lunches at $40 total, that leaves $210. At $10 a drink, you’re at 21 drinks.....
