I'm curious what kinds of evolutions we'll see in play style (especially offensively) moving forward. If Rock develops, he can be by far the most offensively skilled post that TJ has had at Iowa State. If MM doesn't leave early, he'll be capable of being the centerpiece of the offense in a way that he couldn't be this year because of the freshman adjustment. With the entire backcourt potentially returning next season and getting added to with Indrusaitis and Pierce (plus Hamilton off redshirt), I think it's possible that MM plays more at the 4 next season. If that results in an MM/Rock frontcourt sometimes, that probably means some 5-out offense which can open up huge driving lanes for Lipsey and Gilbert.


Thinking about that also just makes me think about how easy of a recruiting pitch it should be to an athletic post who can protect the paint and clean up the glass. Obviously that pitch has to compete with other schools' NIL dollars, but I'm confident that Otz and company can find a great fit.

Did I miss something on Omaha Bilew? Is he redshirting? I’m assuming he’s just not ready yet, maybe defensively? I always watch him on the sidelines and he appears happy for everyone I’m just hoping he knows next year his role will be huge for us
