Ill disagree with that. Losing Morris and Naz and Thomas, a 4* PG has a great chance to start along side Jackson. All he has to do is beat out Jakolby Long and possibly Hallice.

That would be true if we only start one PG. We have seen teams like KU, UNC and Villanova have great success starting two PG's. I could defintely see Prohm going in that direction. Having 2 PG's might be the best way to counter physical/pressure defense played by WVU, UT, OSU, TT and TCU. Nova also showed the effectiveness of 2 PG's and tough on ball pressure against KU in the Final 4.

I see what you're getting at, but unless Donovan comes through with his commitment and thrives, maybe even to the point of starting alongside Monte, I think it would be a tough sell.
Getting two of these 4 star PG's in '17 is a long shot regardless of Donovan future plans. It is unlikely 2 top 100 Point Guards would want to want to compete against each other for 4 straight years. Once one commits I think the staff will focus other positions of need (unless the PG is a true combo guard and open to playing SG).
Recruit the best 10 point guards and hope to snag one or two. Better than recruiting two hard and getting none.

He talked about both. He probably spent the least time talking ISU, but the questioning led to that, IMO.
Not all HS PG's play PG in college. Usually highly ranked players think they are good enough to win the job and aren't scared. It's not unheard of to play two PG's at once. Prohm is good with PG's.
Prohm can absolutely play 2 PG at once. We'll see it this year assuming Jackson is in the fold and healthy.
It is rare that two 4 star talents at a position go to the same school in the same class albeit 2PG, 2SG or 2C's. No player wants to be possibly limited in opportunity for four years. It isn't being scared, it's about quickest path to starting and getting the most out of their time.
Agree. I'd be surprised to land 2 even if he bails. Give me one and the rest would be gravy.
Another article on Weatherspoon. Nothing about a visit to us. To me it sounds like it will come down to his brothers school Miss St. (which is the only school he said will for sure get 1 of his 5 visits) and UNC. He seemed to really smile when talking about them hoping ole Roy boy will offer soon.
