Had a great time last night. Went back to my apartment at 7 this morning to shower then came back. Hoping they don't make us take the tents down as early as the Iowa game.

In regards to the earlier question, there's a tent of 3 girls behind ours (that I guarantee will turn into 15-20 girls once the line forms), my girlfriend stayed with ours last night, and there was another girl with the first tenters.

Roughly 12 tents as of now with 6 or so more people sitting outside to be in line behind all the tents.

My brother in law and I plan to be up there around 4 to start the festivities out on Welch. We plan to head to the stadium at some point to continue the festivities, before the game starts.

I witnessed the hat burning first hand last year. Dude was so drunk.

Random person dropped off a bunch of donuts for the campers. Whoever you are; you are awesome.

One kid tried to sit up in front of the tents but I got him to get back in line without any problems.

To allow more room for the people that get there late to budge in front of campers.

They had the campers at the corner to leave room for people going to the wrestling meet. We had to have everything picked up by noon today, at which time they let the campers go into the gates single file. They kept today's crowd back until all the campers were in. Great job on the event staffs part.

So, what are they doing to keep others from jumping the gates and cutting into line with friends "who let them in?" I'm assuming that they aren't doing any sort of numbered ticket, wristband, or hand-stamp way of indicating who was in line early. Are they "patrolling" the line to prevent cutting?

Perhaps someone should set up a video monitor to make clear who is in line and who cuts.
