Exactly. It's not like it is difficult to move a Sunday soccer/volleyball game to Saturday afternoon or Saturday night depending on when your football team is playing.
The questions are: what year is that from and how the heck did you find it? :smile:
Hell, i think that can be a lot of fun. That volleyball game we had after a football game a few years ago was great, i know i'd be pretty likely to go if we had another game after a football game.
It would've happened again this weekend had they moved the football game up into the afternoon. Instead they're playing volleyball at 2 Saturday. They would've been better off going at 11am or noon for volleyball vs 2:00.
Can someone give me a quick update on the past couple of days? I'm traveling for work and unable to read through the last 48 hours of threads. I know A&M is gone. But what are the most credible rumors saying regarding the B12's future?

We could have two divisons:
Legacy: MO, ISU, OU, OSU, TT, UT
That Good Old Time Religion: Baylor, SMU, BYU, ND, KU (evolutionists), KSU(more evolutionists)
With the statement in the DM Register today indicating that the Big 12 has been rumored to potentially look to offer Notre Dame for their non-fb sports (similar to current deal with Big East) and the BYU reports indicating concerns relative to the WCC on their other sports, here is a possible solution.
Offer BYU, Louisville and Air Force for all sports;
Offer Notre Dame, Gonzaga, Marquette and Depaul as non-football conference members.
That leaves a 12 team FB conference that could be divided still as North and South
North = ISU, MU, KU, KSU, BYU, and Air Force
South = OU, OSU, UT, TTU, Baylor and Louisville
Basketball can then be divided East and West
East = ISU, MU, KU, KSU, Notre Dame, Marquette, Depaul and Louisville
West = OU, OSU, UT, TTU, Baylor, BYU, Air Force and Gonzaga
If necessary to smooth things over for BYU and Gonzaga's departure from WCC, could pay $6mil of A&M's severance money to the WCC (and WCC could/should then merge with the WAC).
Leaves us with a premier FB conference (giving OU and Texas essentially the same road to the Nat'l Title Game they have now) and would possibly supplant Big East and ACC as the premier basketball leagues.
If the superconferences ever come to fruition then it creates a ready-made home for ND if they would otherwise be left in the cold.

In my opinion, that is intentional FUD to distract from the real targets. Stealth work underway. B12 does not want to show its hand.
I actually really like this idea, though i would pick Pitt over Air Force but either would be good.
More simply, why not just add ND non-FB sports and BYU FB? 10 teams for FB and MBB/WBB.
I thought about the scenario of just BYU football and ND for its other sports, but staying at 9 full members with 2 part-time members just continues the same instability that is currently present. Additionally, by getting to 12 full members now, if the Football Superconferences come to fruition, then we have a ready-made home for Notre Dame and could use that leverage to also look to Pitt, TCU and whichever school such as Cincy, Memphis, or Houston make the most sense at that time.
