Babb not getting on is a sick joke. He's the best guard in terms of defense in the entire league. He's not a better overall player as the ones named, but he's better on defense.

I don't know why the Missouri fans are so upset. Has a first year coach ever won the COY?
Edit: Rick Barnes won in his first year at Texas. Texas won the league in his first season by two games over the second place team. So deserved, I think.

Yeah, I dont have a problem with any of it. Except that Babb is EASILY one of the 5 best defensive players.
Haith didn't get jobbed. The B12 didn't want to vote a coach as COY that will be under NCAA investigation.
Now that looks like a pretty good lineup there.
There should be an investigation. Why doesn't Witosky doing something more worthwhile with his time and in look into this instead of trying to dig up dirt on ISU.
Not only should Babb have made the all defensive team, he should have been defensive player of the year.

T.J. does need a lot of credit as well. When Bobby left, everyone was so concerned how this coaching staff was going to fall apart. TJ was promoted and has been in charge of implenting the game plans etc. No one is even mentioning what great of job he has done this year?

I'm not sold on Self as COY. What the h-- did he do this year he wasn't supposed to do? Am I missing something. A bunch of s---! And to top it off Babb not on the D team. What is the criteria, do these coaches have a G-- D--- Clue? I hope he's ****** and he totally shuts Brown down.

As has been mentioned, Scotty should have been 2nd team over Paige. However, that is no where near the bs of Babb not being on the All-Defensive team.
Really surprised. Babb is by far the best defensive player in this conference and I haven't seen one better anywhere else in the country either. He shut down without exception every single player he guarded and no one notices this in this conference?
Honestly I think Babb is the best perimeter defensive player I have EVER seen at this level. He is really an amazing player.

I agree I don't think he is just top 5 in the Big 12 but in Division 1 all together. The guy plays balls out on Defense every possession.
