One of the reasons why I’m not taking ISU or Houston to get to the Final Four. Can’t trust the refs. Any given crew that hasn’t really seen us or Houston before calling a game straight up would be a huge hurdle to overcome.

We are usually on the other side of the first half body shot; good to see them respond like they did.
Man they owe us a couple of calls. The 4 or 5 FT's we should have gotten are the difference so far. We got em right where we want em.
Sampson is a ridiculous person. Imagine unironically making that complaint after that half. What a douche.
15-3 free throw disparity is absolutely criminal in a game like this.
when a certain sub-section of ISU fans make “Nut cups” their fan identity and something a like missing a free throw in the first half of the game is another “kick to the nuts” it’s not hard to see why.
I didn't have a problem with Sampson at half. I dont think he was blaming the stripes, he was just saying the player on the bench is really important to them and him not being out there hurt.
We were at most going to get Nate for one more year. The dude is a future star in coaching and it’s clear he has some big aspirations. Good for him.
That last foul was one of the worst calls I’ve ever seen. And at an absolute critical point in the game.
It's a team that seems to need a really good start so getting back in is a good sign of some growth.
We'll see how this 2nd half goes. Sampson doesn't mess around either.
Plus if McVay farts on you, you get an NFL head coaching job.
They must have great WIFI in that joint, becuase that is all 8,000 fans they have.
Seems like these guys are used to being up comfortably at the half. This is some good experience. Go get it guys!
Agree completely. Playing this physical is going to really hurt you in the tourney. They aren’t going to let you play that way.
