Pav isn't a big 12 guard right now. He'll get there, but he's almost unplayable right now

Pav is better suited to be a spot up shooter.

You don't stop trapping, you stop trapping EVERY time down the floor. It's effective when their offense isn't exactly the same reverse skip pass open 3 every time. If you get to run the same play unopposed over and over, you'll be effective.

When you get outplayed and maybe worse outlasted it is not gonna be a good day. Seems like we were not well prepared for what BYU does. They make the most 3's in the nation yet we continue to overplay and really give up wide open shots. Plus too many lazy passes tonight. Just not a good day for us. Hopefully just 1 bad game.....

In our defense, all these BYU kids had like 4 moms to drop them off at the gym and play HORSE with in the drive way.

Said it after the Houston game, you cannot win games hitting 3/4 shots from beyond the arc, until we start hitting shots we are going to struggle on the road.

Hard to beat a team when their shots are falling. Cyclones guard play is really being exposed tonight. Get back to Ames and get back to work. We really need to find some shooters. Defense can only take you so far.
