What kind of weather gathering machine do you have? I am looking at a Davis? What info does it gather?
Mud? Not in my neighborhood. Could use some rain.I started flagging plots today. No frost but it’s a mud hole. Need more heat to dry things out before anyone could take machinery out there
I actually have installed two of these:What kind of weather gathering machine do you have? I am looking at a Davis? What info does it gather?
We did have isolated spots that got 11 inches in one hour in central Iowa not that long ago. Ankeny in particular got nailed and Larry Cotlar was killed in that storm. My neighbor has a Davis and likes it. He said he has seen over 10” of rain per hour on it a couple times. Only lasted a very short time, thank goodness.
This is why everyone is sickTuesday forecast. High of 70, low of 16. Alrighty then.
Dropping a comment like that in an innuendo filled thread like this. Oh boy.The Terraplex weather center is in her bedroom!?
Who says it is not a spare bedroom? The Terraplex weather center is in her bedroom!?
yeah all the "yay warmth and this is how winter will be" - I think I'm north of you but we're in a similar boat. Very little snow, warmth, and we went into winter short on moisture. Also seeing high 70s in the forecast. Worried it will be like 2012 but with added air quality issues because Canada is also short on moisture. The forecasted high for Sunday is 80. That can't be a good sign. The last year it was similar to these Temps this early was 2012 and that was the extreme drought and 100 degree days all July.
We're in deep trouble if we don't start getting some moisture this spring.

Good news is that the snow you did get should have soaked in instead of running off like most years. Ground sucked up most of the melted snow around here.yeah all the "yay warmth and this is how winter will be" - I think I'm north of you but we're in a similar boat.
