I remember a time around 2004 or 2005 when I was supposed to head to the state basketball tournament, I think the girls (we made both a few years so can't remember which it was). The night before the trip the forecast was for an inch or so. The morning of the trip they bumped it up to 1-3 inches. Ended up being a huge storm and on the way home in the evening it was snowing so hard we ended up taking an exit ramp off of I-80 and not realizing it until we were half way down the ramp. Ended up getting like 14 inches. Probably the biggest miss I've experienced on not seeing a huge storm coming. But again that was nearly 20 years ago and technology has changed a lot.And this is why it makes sense sometimes for a forecast to have "0-6" when there's that much uncertainty. You're not very far between a lot and nothing.
