I’m don’t shoveling this year. It can melt tomorrow
Used my snow blower as much as I could and shoveled the rest. My arms feel like limp rags. Pace yourselves, everyone. That is widow maker snow.
Yeah I usually do this, but I had a screaming toddler inside and wanted to get outdoors and get some exercise so it ended up working out
I would not have gotten out of my driveway if i didn't at least get the stuff at the end of it. And even the 2 stage was damn near choking on that stuff.
The little bit i shoveled where the snowblower is hard to maneuver to was enough to make me very glad I had the 2 stage
I’ve got 3 under 5 so we did end up getting the kids outside.
Built a couple snowmen. I love rolling snowballs when the snow is wet like this. Perfect
Did the same with one of my daughters. It was absolutely perfect for a snowman. We put up one that’s close to 8 feet. Had to build a snow ramp up the back side to get the middle section in place
It certainly looks like 8 out there (Waukee). It added up fast when the flakes were the size of leaves falling.
We should expect our forecasters to be as accurate.

Clearing the heavy snow last night was one thing, clearing the massive frozen blocks left behind by the plow overnight was truly backbreaking.
I followed your suggestion, the snow is still there. Please advise.
