That is the frustrating part. US seems to be controlling most of the game, but can't seem to put the goal in the net. It's basically ISU having long drives and not able to score in the redzone.
The hardest thing to do in soccer is finish. It’s why strikers that can are so valued. You see what a Kane or a Lewandosky would do in this side. We need finishers. Ferriera is a wasted spot.

Don’t disagree, but trying to finish is easy. Sometimes this squat doesn’t even attempt the strikes that are there.

This 100 times. There are plenty of shots the US doesn’t take. They are told to cross instead. If you have a clear shot on goal, shoot the damn thing.

I know it's counter to how team sports are taught and played, but this team needs to play more selfish. Yes, we don't have a bonafide goal scorer, but despite that we don't put nearly enough shots on goal because ALL our players want to make the unselfish pass. We need someone to develop the mentality of slamming it home.

So we subbed out two of our three best looking players. Haji Wright doesn’t deserve the time he’s gotten in this cup.

Haji with the heaviest heavy touch I've ever seen to blow an easy goal. That's a good showing of what our team is about.

Even on the goal scoring touch he biffs it and it somehow goes in lol. Whatever, LET'S GO
