Well, England beating the ever-loving piss out of Wales while we hold our own against them works, too. But what you posted is much more likely.

Basically England has the control over us and Wales. Will they pour on goals against Wales in the final game or will they hold back if they've already secured a pass out of the group?

Well that went from perfect start to disaster pretty fast. Now they need to beat Iran and by a lot. They looked completely lost in the second half outside a 10 minute span, pitiful possession.

Can soccer fans explain to me how only one minute was added at the end of the initial stoppage time? It felt like the game should have been played until 1:03 or 1:04 with how much of that stoppage time was wasted.

True. It's why I said what you posted is more realistic. In any case, it's likely going to come down to goal differential between us and Wales, and Wales has the advantage in they play England last - and all because we went passive in the second half. Can only hope England wants to put Wales in their place even with the group wrapped up.

It's just bad reffing, he should be tracking the dead time and adding it to the game
