Bummer for my home country… we are very talented, but are not as put together tactically and some of these smaller countries like Croatia. We also sat on the result way too early. Needed to stay aggressive for a little longer instead of giving Croatia too much time to try and score…
Hope the Brazilian soccer confederation swallows their pride and hires a foreigner coach. We have the talent, but not the coaching.
Ultimately cudos to Croatia. Very well put together defensively, and beautiful execution in the PKs. They play a dangerous game, but works for them.

I don’t think that was a guess. That looked like his body was pointed in the direction the goalie moved and he kicked across his body at what became an open net - and hit the post.
Maybe don't put your best penalty taker in a position where they may not even get to kick one.
Put your best first. Being behind early is a mental killer.
Agreed - no midfielders tracking back for the equalizer despite having Fred and Casemiro. Fred was supposed to shore up the defense.
