Remember all the posts at the end of the Wales game where some of us were speculating that England was going to settle for a 0-0 tie against Wales, potentially leaving us out in the cold regardless of what happened against Iran? That tin foil hatting is now off the table because, with the tie today, what happens in the England-Wales game has almost no impact on us, outside of giving us an outside chance to win the group outright if weird things happen. While a win would have been preferable, a tie was big for us, especially against one of the favorites to win the whole damn tournament.
If you're going to be upset about anything, keep being upset about how the Wales game ended, not upset about the result of the England game.
Not to mention, two weeks ago if we were all told that win against Iran and we advance to the knockout round, every single one of us would have taken that scenario in a heartbeat. Guess what - with the tie today, that's where we're at.
Outside of having a secured position, controlling your own destiny is the best place any team can be in sports. That's currently where USA sits.

Didn’t see the game, but Japan really blew a golden opportunity. Just needed to take care of business and they would have qualified.
Incredible goal by Morocco from the corner. Is that a gk error to not watch the near post? Even if the kick didn’t go in there was a free Morocco player right there to put it in.
