Thursday looks like a real joy! Had plans to go to the women’s game but the walk into Hilton may be painful. -40 wind chills!

Been there done that. Walked...ran from C5 many a time, and by the time I made the south entry it hurt to move my face(talk, smile).

It seemed by the time we thawed out.........the game was over. Fortunately walking/running to the car, the wind was at our backs.

Where is that line of snow and cold not being that bad? Know several from the MN border area that went to central MZ. Sounds better every day.

The snow on Wednesday into Thursday, I would assume as cold it will be, will it be dry air or is there gonna be moisture? I always feel like very cold cold limits snowfall for Iowa.

C'mon weather peeps, I'm disappointed in you! I count on CyFan for my most accurate weather forecast (not kidding) and hype for major snowstorms and y'all aren't talking about this one enough. What are we looking at here? How bad is this one gonna be?

Snow on Monday, but too cold for significant snow Tues or Wed. Bitter cold is the only story here if you ask me. 5 years in North Dakota fortunately many years ago.

Attention Midwest Holiday Travelers
⚠️

A significant winter storm may bring heavy snow, blizzard conditions, dangerous cold and dangerous travel conditions this Thursday-Friday (December 22-23).

If you are traveling on these dates then please begin to be prepared to alter plans.

Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Michigan, Wisconsin and Iowa all may see impacts.

Exact snow amounts and placement are still unknown but the threat is increasing for the Midwest to see a snowstorm.

And here I didn't book Aruba because I thought passport/immigration control workers were threatening to strike here in the U.S. (oh, no, just the UK...so yeah, don't try to flee to the Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, Anguilla, Montserrat and Turks and Caicos Islands)

What a crappy time of for this. I guess at least it's not hitting on Christmas Eve, but still going to mess up a lot of people's plans. Probably no chance on missing the bitter cold and wind, but hopefully its a big miss on the snow.
