Great....is this going to be similar to when those tornados came through in December. I am not okay with goofy summer weather in the fall/winter.

Seems a little early to blame me. I am generally the reason for bad weather come later in the season anytime I visit family in Iowa or decide to take in a basketball game. Not an EVERY holiday thing now that my parents are gone but still a high probability any visit I make. I'll try to remember to post warnings here.

Gonna try to seed some grass ahead of this rain. Pretty late, but not too worried if it doesn’t work. Driest fall I ever remember.

In 1927 from Oct. 20-28th Iowa was in a "heat wave".

From the 24th to the 28th Des Moines set record highs 5 straight days in the low to upper 80's.

Sioux Center on the 22nd hit 91.
