At this point I will just assume that you always get 2-3x what everyone else in Ames gets.

I will say, it was pleasant to drive to the mall yesterday and see lawns that had green in them.

He probably uses FieldView that thing reads about twice as much as what people actually get

Seriously though, the second somebody tells me they got their measurement from FieldView, I know to throw it out the window.

There you go thinking again. I don't know where you live in North Ames, but I live a couple blocks east of the mall and my neighbor told me his gauge showed around .3" and mine showed the same.

Crazy storm just kind of popped up out of nowhere and rained pretty hard in West Des Moines a bit ago along with some hail too. Hearing some reports of golf ball sized hail on I235 right now

Saw some video of it from WDM, looked like a bunch of hail coming down.

Was sad to see the band of rain missing ankeny, but I can do without the hail.
