I agree with you. Especially since there hasn't been a build-up to 90. I'll be sweating my *** off.

So apparently Spring this year consists of May 7th and 8th.
Many years lately it feels like spring lasts less than a month, going straight from winter to summer.
Some Areas NW of the cities got hammered with hail this morning as well. Have family in Becker that got golfball sized hail on a roof that was replaced due to hail last summer.
Sitting out on the porch watching the storm pass by. Perfect temp with little wind. Frogs are singing. Great light show.
A little history from May 9th 1986...
A storm dropped almost 7 inches of rain in the Waukee area within 2 1/2 hours. The resulting damage due to flooding in the central Iowa area cost nearly $16 million dollars.
Anyone living there at that time remember?

That’s a ton of rain. Just a guess, 99% of people currently living in Waukee didn’t live there in 1986.
