Why are people ******** about flights being cancelled this was forecasted last week.
Probably just because they are POd at sitting in an airport. We were supposed to fly out this morning but moved our flight to Sunday to get in front of the slow reacting people.

Well sure I get it. I canceled driving up to Boji on Tuesday. Weather happens move on.

Sh*t. Do you think it will be open tomorrow morning?

as of 5 the plan is to reopen at 6. I was supposed to be in Mn for work tomorrow noped out of that, got the regular guy to make the call if he goes. 90 is closed west of albert lea the last I heard.

Just rode home with a coworker that lives nearby up in the Cedar Valley area. I wasn’t even driving and that may have been the most stressed I’ve ever been in a vehicle. Roads weren’t terrible in most spots but between the wind and some snow patches, it was completely white out at times. I would’ve hated to see what this would’ve been if the storm wasn’t a dud though!

Last Friday Hwy 151 from Madison to Dubuque was deceivingly bad. There's lots of downhill curves and the wind was tunneled through a lot of spots of patchy snow.

There was a few cars in the ditch and I could tell it was serious when nearly every single driver was taking it slow; there's usually a few jackwagons who tailgate anyone like that's any safer.

That's a nice drive most the yr but I could see it being a bugger with snow, wind, icy spots etc...

Yeah it's usually super smooth.

The weather was similar on Hwy 20 from Dubuque to Manchester but not nearly as treacherous since it's essentially a straight line.

From what I've read from IDOT and Story County Emergency Management, they're going to evaluate at daylight and may or may not put the plows back out. Story County secondary roads may not go out until tomorrow afternoon, after pulling the plows earlier today.
