Personally I think you can play two 4s, a 4 &5, but not 2 5s.

The numbers are irrelevant so as long as the two big men can guard the other teams big men and are threats to score regardless of who’s on them. I mean, look at Gonzaga strutting out Chet and drew timme (some might call drew a 4, but the dude played more under the hoop than Chet did). Anymore, it’s just what’s your best lineup.

Basically a 4 can step away from the basket a 5 cannot. In that instance the numbers are relevant. Chet can definitely step away from the basket.

That’s the thing though, most teams don’t have two bigs, or at least not a 5 that’s going to need require a conventional 5 to defend.

Gonzaga is one few, and even then, a guy like Jones (or even Conditt) isn’t defending those guys well. I’d rather give up some size and get an offensive threat on the other end.

It is nice to have a 5 like Conditt/Jones as an option, but Imo guys like Kunc, King, Basile, Williams, and Watson could handle the vast majority the frontcourt minutes

******* what? I had to read this dudes stat line like 4 times to make sure i got that right. My god
He shot 60% on 2pt; 50% on 3pt and 80% on FTs with a 20/9/3/2 (pt/rb/ast/blk) line.

he should have been first team All-American! He jumps to the top of my list on "perfectly fits a need" want, but can probably go where ever he wants

Landing one of the skilled big guys ISU has been linked to is my biggest want at this point. Stephens numbers are absolutely insane and I hope ISU gets in on him if possible.

I could see him going to somewhere like UNC and playing the "Brady Manek" role next to a next-level big like Bacot and really thriving.

Pretty insane. He has a TS% of 68.4% and an eFG% of 65.4%

His 49% from 3 is on 74/151 shooting. For reference, Niang made 56 his senior year. The closest Cyclone recently would be Shayok in 2019, when he made 71.
