***Official 2022 Transfer Thread***

Probably not a good time for that, come to Ames and help ISU get back to the tournament.
He has to see what the people that pay think of his game, and if another year in school will improve his stock.

I’ve heard it both ways from people I know involved with UNI athletics. The trend was that he was leaving regardless, it’s why he went through senior day.

Now will that be to play professionally, or to go to a P6 school to try to play up a level and show he’s healthy and can be effective there. If he gains nothing by going to play another year at Iowa State or Virginia or where ever, then there’s no reason to put off his first paycheck

I wonder if TJ uses up all scholarships or keeps one open for a late transfer like Hawkins last year

Fwiw, I watched a decent amount of WVU games this year and I thought he was actually a pretty solid scorer off the bounce as well (WVU fans may disagree). Was somewhat hard to see because Sherman and Curry were so ball dominant. I would take McNeil in those situations over anyone on this year's squad besides IB.

Not that surprising. The style they play used to stand out and be an abrupt change to the rest of the B12. Nowadays, basically every team is playing aggressive defense and that advantage is no longer there. Unless Huggy retires I can't imagine them looking anywhere else, but I can't think fans are necessarily full of hope at this point.
