Probably not a good time for that, come to Ames and help ISU get back to the tournament.
He has to see what the people that pay think of his game, and if another year in school will improve his stock.
I’ve heard it both ways from people I know involved with UNI athletics. The trend was that he was leaving regardless, it’s why he went through senior day.
Now will that be to play professionally, or to go to a P6 school to try to play up a level and show he’s healthy and can be effective there. If he gains nothing by going to play another year at Iowa State or Virginia or where ever, then there’s no reason to put off his first paycheck
I wonder if TJ uses up all scholarships or keeps one open for a late transfer like Hawkins last year
Meaning foster was dismissed, and Johnson and Hinson left late.
Anyone else concerned that we’ve lost 3 guys and TJ hasn’t been able to bring in even a single transfer yet? Are we even going to have enough guys to scrimmage 5 v 5 next year?
Does bowen born have any shorter brothers?
Not concerned. Other than a very few that have announced transfer to schools 'back home' or w/ a coaching connection already...it's early.
Somebody should probably start a thread about whether we should add some football players to the roster

I am just seeing this. As a Dubuque kid, I am surprised he isn't already a Hawk. Fran asleep at the wheel? Iowa hasn't a token end of bench kid from Dubuque in a couple years.
Gotta give him a little credit on that one, I've seen it just pop up randomly on TikTok and Twitter from people who don't even know who it was.

Something is obviously going on behind the scenes. This is a disaster. We’re coming off of a Sweet 16 and guys are jumping ship left and right!
Not that surprising. The style they play used to stand out and be an abrupt change to the rest of the B12. Nowadays, basically every team is playing aggressive defense and that advantage is no longer there.
