Custer was in the big xii as a freshman then went to the valley. Green would be a 5th year guy.
If you watch Drake at all you'd see multiple guys that would of been upgrade to our current starters.
Was looking through the valley as possible transfers. Missouri State's two leading scorers seemed like a good fit as well.
Lol, like who? Devries might start at the 3 but that's about it, maybe Murphy.
Penn, Wilkins, and Sturtz aren't starting over Tyrese, IB, or Gabe.
DeVries, Murphy or Hemphill would be an upgrade at the 4 and Wilkins is better than any wing we have oppo IB.
Hunter and Brockington are the only two we have that would start for Drake.

Well, either Devries is horrible because he's got a bunch of Big 12 level starters and won't sniff the tourney, or TJ is unbelievable because he's got a bunch of guys that wouldn't start on a Valley team that are a lock for the tourney.
Update on James Graham III. Sounds like ISU is making an early impression (perhaps leader?).

Devries has a 700 winning percentage at Drake. TJ has done something none of us thought possible with one stud, an elite recruit and a bunch of roll players.
Of the other 3 starters Kunc is closest to Big XII level starter but he still isn't.

Would be the strongest starting 5 and

WTF? YOU are saying that Drake has better talent. So the conclusion has to be one of three things. A) Devries has done a poor coaching job B) TJ has done an amazing job C) Drake doesn't actually have better talent. Which one is it?
