***Official 2022 Transfer Thread***

What you're describing in kid in a candy store syndrome. Only thinking about what one side wants. You can't sell what you're described as something a 4 star recruit that's transferring due to lack of playing time wants. I expect the kid to end up in the Valley.
Could be. But you are going with a stereotypical reason a player has for transferring.

His dad played at ISU and family was from Fort Dodge. Maybe he didn't like Madison and might be attracted to play at ISU. Just because the opportunity for immediate PT at ISU isn't a clear path, maybe he is OK if the opportunity opens up for 2023/24.

Sure he could end up in Valley, Horizon, etc, etc if HE feels his skills don't match P6 hoops. But like you said, he would as a 4 star out of HS and might feel he can excel in the right P6 system.

I said in the Weber getting fired thread that I wanted Pack to transfer to ISU. He'll be highly sought after and I probably have a better chance at winning the lottery, but man that'd be awesome if it happened.
He would definitely help solve some critical problems on offense, but I think it would cause problems with our ability to switch on defense. Tyrese is athletic and physical enough to match up with big guys reasonably well. Pack isn't.

Woah, woah, woah...... Slow down, slappy. Do you realize what you're saying? Worse?!?!?
There are some on there that may be worse. They talk about Iowa State more than Iowa fans do. But in general you're right Iowa fans are worse.

Old adage in the NFL, when you have two QBs you have no QBs. That was our situation at center this year. TJ is going to put in every effort to sign a proven productive post. Expecting someone better then Jones as his backup isn't likely. Hopefully our future post is in our 2023 HS class.

Well...and if the ceiling is consistenly reaching the Sweet 16...I guess I would be OK with that! I mean sure I want to go further but the Sweet 16 isn't anything to feel down about!

Right and also if you hit the sweet 16 a lot, chances are you win a game and hit the elite 8 at some point. Unlike another team I know of that does not hit the sweet 16.

That’s better (and interesting)….

There is no fan base that yanks their own nuts off faster than ToE does anytime ISU does literally anything.
Yeah that's true. And yeah the "John Walters" of KSU talks about ISU all. the. time. It's insane how much head space we take up.

WHAT? For real? I am seriously learning a lot right now. Who is this guy?

LOL. There is some major penis envy going on there.
He just randomly goes on rants about CMC and Iowa State. When they talk about living rent free in someone's head, Iowa State seriously does. Also, it's one thing if it's some random fan of a school, but when it's someone with a job like that it looks so unprofessional.

I’m not sure there’s quite the distinction between 4s and 5s going forward. If Enaruna had a better understanding with the staff, would we have played Conditt and Jones much less? I assume so. Maybe not, but slotting guys as 4s and 5s seems archaic
