*** OFFICIAL 2022 **** IOWA THREAD ***

I have a story that kind of encapsulates the need for this thread every year. Last night...about 9:30/10...I go to an Ames Casey's to grab something to drink. Grab my stuff and go to the checkout counter...no one there. Gal finally shows up and rings me up. As she's handing me my receipt, she goes "OK, you're good to go, but you're gonna have to change your shirt before you come back". I forget what I'm wearing so I look down and of course it's a black ISU shirt with the I-State stenciled in white. I just shake my head, grab my stuff, and go. It's like: a) kinda bold to do that at an Ames Casey's, b) does she do that to everyone she rings up wearing an ISU shirt, and c) whatever...

Just put two and two together they. Iowa fan= convenience store clerk.

After rewatching the game Iowa State really took advantage of SEMOs linebackers in coverage and hit a bunch of crossing/underneath routes. With Jestin Jacobs now being ruled out I’m curious as to how good Campbell, Benson and Jacob’s backup are in coverage. We know they are solid against the run but would be interested in hearing some stats/thoughts on how they when forced into coverage.

We didn’t see a ton of deep balls or throws to the sideline against SEMO likely due to how well the short stuff across the middle was working. Moved the ball really efficiently when that was the case.
