This actually just sounds like a quote from his agent trying to get more money out of Big M. "...with the hope of a contract offer." Yikes.

The guy can’t hold on to a job for more than five years because he alienates everyone around him so he just starts from scratch every time. He’s a clown.
I think it’s a done deal and happening because of that. Doubt he leaves minny without an offer.I know it is not the main CFB Signing Day anymore but still interesting Harbaugh chooses to do it on that day.
My gut feeling is this too. I don’t think Jim interviews without knowing he likely has the job. Especially on NSDI think it’s going to be Harbaugh
That's why Harbaugh isn't my first choice. He seems like a similar style coach to Zim. And while that's not necessarily bad, that's not always a recipe for success. I was hoping they'd go with a more of a player's coach. So can anyone compare Harbaugh to Zim? Seems Jim wore people out almost everywhere he's been. Zim didn't quite do that but he seemed pretty crabby and stuck on his one way. I'm hoping there aren't too many similarities otherwise, why go there. Winning would be nice but wasn't one of the problems that people didn't like Zim's methods? I'm asking more than anything because this isn't something I pay close attention to. If we win a bowl I suppose everyone could get pissed and leave after!
This guy is probably going to be the hire.
I read an article last week that I decided not to link because of political reasons that quoted the Wilfs as saying they want the franchise to be “the face of diversity” in the nfl. The reporter went on to state the GM hire was made because he agreed to hire a woman as his #2. If you’ve been following the HC search it kind of lends credence to the article. That really blows. I agree though. The biggest lame duck candidate just so happens to be the frontrunner. Brad Childress all over again
Miami making a stronger push for Harbaugh...
