***Official 2021 Vikings***

I remember him having a really hard time catching the ball in offense at ISU. IIRC, he bobbled a swing pass into a pick 6 during the Riot Bowl a couple years back.
I guess I was thinking tunnel screen type stuff too but I suppose that's actually a tougher catch because you're surrounded by the trees.

On a positive note, outside of the Rams, our remaining opponents aren't exactly world-beaters against the run. The Lions, Bears and Packers are middle of the road in yards/carry and the Steelers are tied with us for worst. The Lions and Steelers are among the worst for giving up runs of 20+ yards.

...that's the best I can do in the optimism department

Yeah so I almost fell for it again. I did allude to the inevitable clunker and there we have it. I suppose you take the Rams game as more winnable and they can still get to 10? Only get one more loss then and expecting enough consistency to go 5-1 is folly. Dalvin down will make it worse, of course. I'd actually expect 7 or 8 wins and that better be enough to burn it down.

Damn, I really did swing that one 180...

The fact that he was never RB1 only gets more astonishing.

Does Zimmer get fired if the Vikings lose today?
I think he gets the whole season no matter what happens.

That TD might be game. I'm not surprised the Vikings are giving up points since the defense is so banged up, but the offense can't score on their own. Won't win this with field goals.
