***Official 2021 Vikings***

Looking forward. Minnesota NEEDS to get into their bye week with a minimum of 3 wins if they want to make the payoffs. 4 would be a FANTASTIC turnaround. You could beat Dallas and be 5-2.. But @ Baltimore, @ Chargers, home aginst GB and @ 49ers is a BRUTAL stretch. No one would be shocked if you go 0-4 there.

You'll probably need 9 wins to make the wild card. 10 would be better.. But I can't find 6 wins in the schedule after the bye with 2 games against GB, SF, Bal and LAR.
Agree, help save Cook for after the bye when you NEED wins to make the wildcard

That play by Jefferson was incredible. I don't think Sanders, Revis, Bailey, or Ramsey could have even covered him on that play. Probably the most impressive Red Zone route I have ever seen.
The funny thing is JJ's knock coming into the league was that he had to get better as a route runner. The guy quickly made himself a GREAT route runner. While he has pretty good straight-line speed, at 6'1" he is not super-explosive physically in and out of breaks, but he gets open so well. Obviously he has some physical gifts, but there are tons of guys that have been faster and more explosive than JJ that aren't even in the same planet as a WR. Jefferson and Thielen put on an absolute clinic on how to play the position every Sunday.

I remember after they drafted him, there were a lot of questions about how he and Thielen could coexist, because both did the vast majority of their work out of the slot. That seems to have been resolved

Amazing how good Cousins can look with even average O line play. When everybody was trashing him I still didn’t think he was the problem.
Cousins is actually a very solid QB. He puts up such good numbers. Now if we could get him to win crucial games.

Even though he has played well early, we'll get to see if Cousins' poor pocket awareness returns today. I'm afraid the Browns front four is going to put the crunch on Kirk today.

You won't win many games when your QB is quickly taking hits and getting flushed out by 4-man rushes. Pass pro regressed quickly this week.

Hell, he took a hit on the last play of the game on a 3-man rush.

I dont understand how anyone can point a finger at Cousins. He's played well when he's been given a chance at success. Missing Dalvin Cook yesterday for a good chunk of the game was a huge issue. The pass protection was comical at best.

Pick 4 random CF users and they might be able to generate a pass rush against the Vikings OL....especially if they stunt or twist. Someone is getting a free run at Cousins.

The lack of consistency in the Zimmer era baffles me; one great game that has you believing, only to fall flat on their faces the next week. This played out like the 2018 NFC Championship game, albeit with fewer points. One great drive to start the game, dull performance the rest of the way.

Just when you think you're getting back in, they kick you right back out.

I didn't expect the Vikes to win, but putting up only seven is disappointing. We have one O-lineman that would start on most teams. Have to believe this lack talent and line evaluations will be the undoing of Spielman/Zimmer.
