***Official 2021 Vikings***

Thinking about going up for a game this year. Whats the status on the Minneapolis-St. Paul area safety wise???

This is the biggest issue to me. While Zimmer also probably needs to go at this point, Spielman is the one truly responsible for this dumpster fire. He's hamstrung them cap wise, so we can't really do a full on re-build, and then doesn't draft well. This for me was the final straw: out of 11 draft picks from the 2021 draft, 7 of them were not on the opening day 53 - including the TOP 3 PICKS. With a team coming off a losing season, and being hamstrung cap wise - you cannot have your top 3 picks not even active for the first game. I know Darrisaw is hurt, but he was also hurt at the time of the draft. I really hope he gets healthy, but I admit, I have some concerns about him long term. And he hasn't even played a snap yet. It will be even worse if Justin Fields turns into a star for the Bears when we know the Vikings were trying to trade up for him and couldn't get it done...
What are you talking about? Darrisaw, Mond, and Surratt are all on the 53 man roster.

Darrisaw, as you mentioned is hurt, Mond is a backup quarterback, and Surratt was always a project, but he absolutely played in the game.

I'm not saying that they'll all be great, by any means, but we're only really talking about one high pick here in Darrisaw.

Spielman has had some bad choices, but he's also made some great picks and is well thought of in the league as a GM. Zim might be on his way out, but I hope they keep Spielman around.

new year, same disappointment...I like Zimmer the man, but he needs to move on...we will never get anywhere with the old school mentality...time to go after a qb in this next draft and somehow improve the OL

If the Bears stick with Dalton. They aren't a risk to win the division. Lions suck but are not a push over. Packers have the division on a platter

Vikings could very easily start 0-4 which eliminates them from the division. I hope I'm wrong here.. But they are underdog's in the next 3.. should get at least 2/3 from the Lions, Panthers and Cowboys before 4 straight underdog games. Could be looking at a 2-8 start.

My guess is the Vikings get hot to end the year and blow a chance at a star rookie QB or top 5 talent

Packers also have a QB who doesn't want to be there and could very well be sabotaging the team. I say this, however, with an immense disdain for all things Rodgers.

Bears, IMO, need to get going on Fields. The longer they wait, the more incompetent that staff appears.

The Lions are the Lions.

As for the Vikes, they did enough to win last weekend and, if the D-line can continue to get good push, they could slow down the Cardinals passing game. It's a veteran line, so my hope is they will.

Spielman also is very aggressive when we trade as well. Hes willing to go after the best when we need to. I agree he needs to stay around.

I may go see anyway. I know this, we aren't as bad as we looked most the game and AZ absolutely isn't as good. Doesn't mean we'll win by any means. If the season goes as badly as some of you project, Idk how either of them keeps their jobs. Unless you somehow argue that the talent is there and wasn't coached, which I don't believe exactly. If we can't compete for a wild card, I say burn it down.

I just bought tickets today for the Browns game. I've been going to at least one game a year for a long time so not being able to go last year was strange. Looking forward to going even if we might not be in good shape by then.
