Pete Rose chiming in on the Yankees...like Pete or not...this is a hilarious comment about Joey Gallo:

Then, he took his criticism of Gallo a step further.

“How does someone who didn't play every day strike out 213 times?” Rose says. “Ray Charles wouldn't strike out that much. I just can't imagine striking out 213 times without killing myself.”

Joey is a two true outcomes hitter -- strikeout or homer. He reached 100 career HRs before he hit 100 career singles. Occasionally he'll walk, and his patience at the plate has gotten better over the past few years. But he's still exactly as advertised. And the Yankees knew that when they took him on.

Hhhmmm interesting. Dodgers going with an "opener" pitcher tonight instead of starting off with Urias.

The call was awful and it sucks that it ended that way. But it shouldn't get talked about as much as it will because there was a snowball chance in hell the Giants came back to win. If it was called correctly, at best Flores, a non every day player and 0-8 in the postseason is still in a 1-2 count with 2 outs and runner on first against one of the best pitchers in the game.

But **** the Dodgers. Least favorite team in baseball (close with the Cardinals) Go Braves

I hope MLB does something about the playoffs. The two best teams in baseball should not of been playing each other in the divisional series, in my opinion. Also, when you play 162 games in a season, the postseason shouldn't come down to a one game or a five game series.

I’ve never understood the 5 game divisional series. If someone has insight into why MLB does this id be curious. Wouldn’t you think the MLB would want to stretch that series out to potentially 2 more games?

I completely agree. But you have got to get that right. You just have to. This kind of BS is a huge problem for baseball and won't help it build its brand.
