***Official 2020-2021 Transfer Thread***

Does he reach out? I doubt that's even relevant here. Meaning, I would guess its already been some time that TJ already knows if he'd follow him .... or knows we're not what he's looking for.
Where is he from originally?
California

JMO but seems like we were a landing spot for malcontents. Not many team players in the transfer market. Not a fan of transfers. Screws chemistry imo.
Uhhh have you not watched Iowa State basketball the past decade? Good coaches do their homework and bring in guys who will help the team. I think TJ has proved that he can do that.

NO ISU for Bryce

He's also testing the NBA waters... Considering the competition and where ISU is at rebuilding I can see where Bryce may not be looking at moving to Ames for a year. TJ knows him and feels it is better to look at more realistic options.

I don't think TJ wants to take players from UNLV so this doesn't surprise me.

Well Grill is still available so well see. ;)
TJ was looking to make a massive culture change in Vegas and even though the Rebels do get some 5 stars most the roster is MWC level thus it is probably the right choice at ISU.

The chances of success NEXT YEAR seem very unlikely to me (which is ok and expected). I'd rather see us go after transfers with multiple years left, or quality high school kids if possible. I can't see a competitive roster next year, we are just not going to be a desirable location for the top transfers who only want 1 more year.
