The Grove brothers with AJ Green is my dream!!!!! I know it wouldn’t happen but that would be awesome with Tyrese Hunter running the point!
Im likely forgetting someone just due to the sheer number of people in the portal but it feels like the Grove bros are the best case scenario for us out of realistic gets
Heard we at least offered Tanner, the forward who scored 35 on KU. Do not know about Jacob, who went 23 and 9 on them
It'd be nice to offer both and sell it to them as a package deal.
Man we would totally resemble the TOE with those guys. That said, they would all be upgrades, no doubt
I get that and don’t want to resemble TOE, but those brothers combined to score 58 points against KU. We need people that can score, especially one with a post presence
Tanner was super impressive against KU, Not only the outside shot but he scored inside and was just a tough competitor.
Wasn't this his best game of the year? Seems like he doubled his season average in scoring.
Tanner averaged 17 and 8. Jacob averaged 9 end 4. Both had good shooting numbers and will be able to go almost anywhere in a packaged deal
This is completely a package deal IMO. I think Tanner and Jacob can both play at the high major level. Jacob only averaged 9 points a game but the reality is they are both good shooters with high IQ shot selection. 36% from 3, 78% from the free throw stripe and both above 55% from the field.
only concern with them is that the only put up good numbers one year at the low major level, did look good against KU though
If I remember right Tanner also had good games against Arizona and Washington State. Struggled a bit against Oregon.
ya just caught me off guard averaging 5.4 a game as a jr to 17.2 as a senior, usually dont see those drastic of jumps
Yeah he only played 9.9 mpg his sophomore year. He was behind a SR forward who averaged 17 ppg and soaked up most of the minutes.
No doubt they'll get good offers. My point was coaches will temper their evaluations knowing both players had career games against KU.
