NBA: ***Official 2019 NBA Playoffs Thread***

Even if they get past the Warriors, and Durant is out, you have to wonder how long Iggy can hold up playing 40 mins a game at his age.

True. I guess there's the possibility of Boogie still returning at some point, and maybe the news on KD won't be as bad as people think it is. But yeah, their lack of depth might come back to bite them. Not that there's much they could have done about it. With the stars eating up so much cap space the only way to maintain any quality depth is to get veteran ring chasers on the cheap or find a diamond in the rough in the second round of the draft.

They were awesome after Game 1. What a machine, and they defend like nobody's business. Anyone who says they don't play defense in the NBA ought to watch what the Bucks are doing. They squeezed the life out of Boston in the half court.

The Celtics barely shot 30% from the field and were under 30% from most of the game. Granted Kyrie was playing hero ball and jacking up wild, fadeaway threes, but still nice D.

It's crazy how quick Boston and Philly's seemingly long title contending windows have closed over the last several months. It's not entirely crazy to think the Nets could come out of this summer in a better long term position than Boston after trading them all of those picks in the KG-Pierce deal.

The contract structures for rookies and the luxury tax seems to make it really difficult to build around young talent with more young talent in the NBA. I think the windows are going to be pretty small for teams. Beasley and Murray on Denver will both be off their rookie contracts, and Denver may have to match a big deal for Murray and not be able to pay Beasley. And then they will have to find another power forward unless Millsap will take less than he is worth. and It's just hard to keep a core of more than 2-3 guys together unless you're willing to pay luxury tax out the wazzoo.

Not sure who I'm cheering for tonight between Sixers and Raptors. I doubt very much if my Bucks really care who it is, they just go out and take care of business. But Kawhi poses a much bigger problem than Kyrie did.

No matter, if Coach B can keep getting bench play like he has lately, it won't matter.

The only game scheduled tonight is Rockets and Warriors. Potential Game 7 tripleheader on Sunday if Houston can pull off the W!

I'm still rooting for Denver to get through to the conference finals, but I love Portland's toughness. Zach Collins is fun as hell to watch. I had kind of forgotten about him after he left Gonzaga early, but he played well last night.

Yeah, Collins looks like he's going to be something. Rodney Hood is killing the Nuggets. I expect Jokic to play about 45 minutes in Game 7. Their bench is killing them. I had a dream he tore his achilles, but I'm not sure he's athletic enough to tear it :).

Not a great game going right now despite the score. GSW looks like a TDF cyclist after they got their HGH taken away from them. They still have a lot of talent and are a good team but they don’t have their KDHGH to power them up to a summit finish on Le Alpe Du’ez.
