That and figuring out how to keep a decent supporting cast around him. They're going to have a tough time figuring out how to keep Middleton, Brogdon and Lopez. Middleton is going to command a max salary, and I think someone else is going to either force Milwaukee to overpay Brogdon or let him go.

I've seen a couple Nuggets fans bring up the possibility of waiting until Milwaukee pays Middleton and then offering Brogdon something that would be hard for Milwaukee to stomach.

I'm betting Denver isn't the only team thinking that. There are plenty of teams out there with cash to burn who could use a combo guard who can shoot and defend.

Klutch Lakers just opened up a max spot... time for the Kwahi, Kyrie, DeAngelo, or Kemba speculation to realistically begin.

Royce playing pg on the Lakers this year would be epic. Royce, THT, Bron and AD on the floor together with some scrub as the 5th would be a huge lineup and a matchup nightmare.

I know most would hate it, but if Kawhi isn't going to stay in Toronto, I wouldn't hate to see him with the Lakers. I enjoy LeBron and I enjoy fun story lines and that would be a fun one. I doubt it happens though

I think Kawhi to the Clippers and playing with misfits like Lou Williams and Harrell would be fun, although it’d be a shame for a city like LA to get that much talent.

I am in the minority with you Kawhi, AD and Bron would be very interesting and NBA twitter would go nuts... but Kyrie rejoining with Lebron in LA would be even more entertaining for the story lines. (popcorn .gif)

@TheSteinLine Kyrie Irving remains as much a target for the Lakers as Kawhi Leonard, league sources say, now that the Lakers are sure they can open maximum cap space. They are swinging for the fences despite all of the signals that have pointed Irving to Brooklyn ...
 
Kawhi has a chance to supersede LeBron as the best player of this era and cement MJ as the greatest. He must go to the Clippers to do that.

You mean succeed LeBron not supersede correct?
Kawhi isn't taking Lebron's spot as the best player of decade no matter what he does... not a slight to him but just a fact. Lebron is challenging Jordan for the best of all time Kawhi hasn't cracked the top 20.
