Any idea why Austin Reaves would include us in his final 6? Anyone hearing anything of a transfer from Iowa State or why we would still be recruiting him?

The only thing that I can imagine is that Coach Prohm told him that we'd have a spot for him if Lindell decided to stay in the draft.
Obviously we'd much rather have Lindell back, but this kid would be a nice consolation prize this late.
No way. I want lindell to go pro and get this kid. Just kidding. Totally agree. It would be nice to have a sit out transfer if Lindell decides to go.
If we lose Lindell I’d rather add an immediately eligible player (e.g Matt Mooney) but i agree this would be a really solid sit out player.
Screw it. Scrape up all of the possible BS scholly's you can find and stack them on top of each other, and offer him that with a spot as a walk on until a scholly opens up.

Not sure why ISU is on the list, it could just be from his original one before Nixon committed. Austin is visiting Purdue then planning announcing (tweet from a couple hours ago). I really doubt ISU is in the mix without a visit.

Well, this Reaves news is exciting, although also concerning that the most likely scholarship would come from losing Lindell to the pros?
I wouldn't get too excited. I really doubt Reaves would be committing to ISU w/o a visit. (not to mention filling the last scholarship with Nixon).

iirc Jacobson visited in secret last summer and no one found out about it until faster he committed.
And he wasn't horrible. He has a big body for a guard, and even though his shot looks ugly, he hits them at a pretty good rate. Decent defender. I could see him being a solid rotation guy at a mid-major program.
Agree. Custer and Carter found decent landing spots pretty quickly, surprised we haven’t seen same for Long.

Probably yeah, but this has taken a lot longer than most transfers take. He announced he was leaving ISU on March 13th.
Not saying that’s a bad thing, just saying it’s taken longer than i anticipated or what timeframe most transfers take.
