I personally think THT is more of a swingman small forward type in college. Hope he proves he has the versatility and quickness to D up shooting guards in college.
There is no need to immediately add anyone. There is only one roster spot available and there will be many players announcing their intentions for a fresh start that could be more attractive to the staff soon. Fans have to remember the staff may be confident in the perimeter players they have/recruiting and not feel Stewart will improve the team in 2 years.
Parker is intriguing and will be highly sought after and he would be a good get for any school.
I expect the staff to reach out and see if there is mutual interest but it is too early to declare the guy to give the scholarship to "ASAP".
Am I not correct in thinking he would be eligible next season or did that new rule never pass?
Others are tracking that closer than I have, but I have seen there going to looking a change in the rules in June. Well know then what the changes are and if it affects the current class or future. It wouldn't surprise me with a change that could affect the college landscape this drastically and if the NCAA tables it for more review or only makes minor changes to see how it goes.
I don't think you can recruit a transfer this April and May with the expectation they will be immediately eligible as of today.

Looks like he played at Ohio then sat out a year at Evansville before this year. He should have 2 to play 2

Remeber when Fred left he took over a roster of 3 players and got ISU to the touney in 2 years... Pretty amazing actually. Starting the Transfer U advantage was an out side the box approch to get talent that PITT wont be able to use.
Assumming Penny gets the Memphis Job, that is a simular outside of the box approch to hire a legend assuming he'll bring top 50 talent with him to cut the timeline for success. Risk.
Sean Miller for instance could jump ship from Zona (not that I see that happening) and reload quickly, then again he could have a show cause coming. Risk.
