This team is the worst team in the league at getting runs in and we're, as JD says, "playing it safe" by keeping La Stella at third when he more than likely would've been safe on Caratinis hit.

You can't have a guy on third with no outs as the Cubs and feel confident you'll get the run in. Unreal. La Stella not scoring is on that third base coach.

It's typical Heyward. He shouldn't be allowed to bat if there's runners in scoring position.

But this time it's not even a double play. Plenty of guys failed that inning, Heyward included.
Darvish is off the hook. His strikeout was fine. But goodness, there needed to be a run there.

I am not advocating small ball....but when guys have been SUCKING, you bunt as a means to change the status quo. Hell, Scwarber should have bunted earlier today. Baez last night. Maybe now(???) I don't know.
