MLB: ***Official 2018 Chicago Cubs Season Thread***

Just got home. Why does mediacom say it's on ESPN but I'm seeing Stephen A

I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little concerned about Lester. Getting beat up by what will almost certainly be the worst team in the NL is...not good.

As good as Hendricks can be I think Quintana is one of the top 3 pitchers on this staff too. I think he's due for a big season this year, he had a 1.10 WHIP in 14 starts with the Cubs which was best of all the starters. Just 29 and now on a winning team with a pretty good defense behind him, he's a crazy good #4 who would be one of the top 2 starters on a lot of rotations probably.

Even if Lester regresses some this year this rotation still could be one of the best in all of baseball this year. They'll likely adjust who starts in what order after a off day or reset it at the all start break. You can just look at it this way, Hendricks starts tomorrow so you could say Lester is now #5 in the rotation next time around if you want to call Hendricks the ace and #1 starter. Either way I don't really care what order they start in, on most days that starting rotation is going to give you a good chance to win regardless who is on the mound.
