***Official 2018-19 Transfer Thread***

Outside of Shayok and Jacobson, this staffs transfer recruiting has been a bit disappointing. Nixon TBD.

I wish I had a good list of transfers by year to refer to, but it feels like the first couple of years looking for immediately eligible transfers were not so good, but the sit out transfers more recently have been better.

A no particular ordered list of grad transfers i would like to see ISU get involved with.

Not sure I would count him as a Prohm recruit (more of a TJ recruit after he was de facto interim head coach for awhile), but Nick turned out pretty well.

Jackson was a nice JUCO. Bowie was okay bench depth. Talley was decent.

Guess it depends on if you are looking for roll players or leaders/scorers. Many are ok at being roll players. Only had 2-3 starters.

Nick was good

Bowie was solid depth at year end

Holden was a bust

Beverly was a bust

Brase was a bust (he could’ve been ok if healthy)

Talley was ok for a horrible 2017-18 team that ended year with 7 eligible players. Also had off court issues that held him back.

Jackson was solid but I’ve heard stories he wasn’t the best teammate/leader

My point is this staff has yet to land an immediately eligible transfer that has been able to really impact the squad. They have made hay with some solid sit out kids.

some speculation that this is Isaiah Moss from Iowa, someone I would take at ISU as a grad transfer

If he is landing at Missouri State I'm glad ISU didn't get involved. We absolutely have to land someone better than him. No offense to him but ISU is much better than Missouri State.

No doubt but i have no idea what this staffs strategy is with transfer recruiting. I didn’t think our only scheduled visit halfway through April would be a sit out forward from Troy who averaged 10 and 4 but here we are.
