***Official 2017 Transfer Thread***

Little research showed this guy has been to Illinois St, San Jac CC, and was dismissed from Minnesota before playing a real game. Shot .258% from three last year.

Just throwing it out there...

Edit: just noticed he follows Chris Babb and Seanna Johnson on Twitter.

Panic has set in and we'll take anything at this point.

Not quite sure how he has eligibility left… kid is 10 months older than Naz Long haha

Take.

Part of me is scoffing because wish list apparently has gone from MWC/C-USA to Patriot and SWAC. ... Then again, Lofton was both POY and NOY in SWAC, and he shot 78% from FT line ... average per game of 5.3 makes on 6.7 attempts. For what it's worth.

Here's a Boykins D-1 reel posted recently on YT.

(Around 1:05 mark is at KU, where he hits a 3-pointer All The Way From The Chicken).

Stats from Sports Reference Was he injured last season? ... Listed as playing in only 2 games.

If he has visits to Pitt & PSU, appears he wants to stay in that area (he's from Ohio).

I think I read somewhere he hurt his shoulder during the season.

SIAP but looks like Neil Berry and Hans Brase from Princeton are now following each other. Think I saw his name thrown out in another thread as a hypothetical, but might be some actual traction there. Had a rough go with back to back ACL tears, but would certainly fit the stretch 4 mold.

11 and 7.5 in his last full season, but re injured his knee just 5 games into this season, which would seem like a pretty open and shut medical redshirt case.

Just curious what you guys think but would you rather have Brase or Beverly?

Good question. They're very similar players. Brase is a better shooter but also has injury history, tearing his ACL last season. Brase would seem to be the better prospect based off of other schools interested compared to Beverly. I'd be happy with either one, or both!

Not choosing, but just adding that I've liked everything I've read about Brase....except those reoccurring knee injuries. Can he stay healthy?
