***Official 2017 Transfer Thread***

Just curious....anybody read or heard anything about the Johnson kid, grad transfer out of Pitt? Doubt if we get his interest, but other than a huge list, I haven't heard anymore of where he's taking his visits.

For some reason he just got updated onto Verbal Commits as transferring to University of Arizona. But can't find that anywhere else.

I'm not sure where this puts us with Brown but I would like to think that it helps more than it hurts. At this point I'm just thrilled that we will still be getting a visit.

Oregon has a really good recruiting class and is the leader for another high ranked recruit in McCoy so maybe these kids didn't want to play behind freshman? I don't know. Seems weird they would leave after Oregon is losing so many players.

Read on an Arizona board that Cam Johnson is going to visit Arizona in the coming weeks but if Bowen commits to them he won't go there. So I don't think he has actually committed to them.

ESPN just posted a updated available transfer list with possible destinations listed. The also provided an updated roster as of today for what each team has coming on going.
Three ISU known interests included in the top 10
http://www.espn.com/mens-college-ba...asketball-best-transfers-going-2017-18-season

1. Charlie Moore
2. Elijah Brown, RS Jr., SG, New Mexico Lobos (graduate): Brown put up big numbers at New Mexico, averaging 18.8 points and 5.2 rebounds, but decided to play his final season elsewhere. He already visited Oregon, and is also considering Northwestern, Iowa State, Gonzaga and Saint Mary's.
3 Cameron Johnson
4. Noah Dickerson
5. Carleton Bragg Jt.
6. Mark Alstork, RS Jr., SG, Wright State Raiders: The 6-foot-5 Ohio native averaged 19.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.5 assists last season and has numerous high-major suitors. Georgetown recently reached out. Tennessee went to see him. Michigan assistant Billy Donlon coached him at Wright State.
7. Chase Jeter
8. Dejon Jarreu
9.Teven Mack
10. Ed Morrow, So., PF, Nebraska Cornhuskers: Morrow had a strong sophomore season -- 9.4 points, 7.5 rebounds -- and brings a high motor and very good rebounding ability. He's expected to visit Iowa State this month, and Xavier and Marquette are involved.

Cam Johnson likely end up at TCU with Dixon?

Possibly, Dixon would have recruited him out of High School but they still haven't shown to be a tourney team. Could be a courtesy visit due to the coaching relationship like Shayok and Shakur took considering the rest of his list. Kentucky had the early momentum. Florida and Oregon would be tempting due to their young roster and profile.
