***Official 2017 Transfer Thread***

I think Egor might be better than Brown or Alstork. Thoughts?
I would say so. A shade under 9 rebounds a game for a guard would be huge. He also has the better 3P% and lower turnovers per game. He has the biggest body at 6'5 210.

I really like the rebounding numbers for all of these guys. I just see a little Kane in Alstork which is attractive obviously.

Any one of those guys and juiston and we are golden for next year.

Another thing to consider between the three is competition and timeline.

Alstork seems to have a later timeline (testing NBA) and is a rumored Michigan lean already.
Brown has Oregon and Zaga on his list. He at least has a visit to ISU set though.
Koulechov has decided he's playing college and already down to 3 with 2 visits set.

So Hines tweeted that he (Egor) will visit April 21st. That is the same day as Brown. They couldn't possibly want to take both of them could they? Otherwise that visit situation could be a bit odd.

Things are so fluid, who knows if both end up visiting.

I'm guessing we'll take as many as we can get from Juiston, Brown, Egor and Alstork.

Hopefully we take Juiston off the board this weekend, and then can get at least one of the others.

Dumb question, are Brown, Egor and Alstork all one year grad transfers? I thought I remembered there being a few two year grad transfers when players were first announcing, due to a previous redshirt.

Egor's rebounding plus Juiston would be a nice upgrade on the boards.

Reload the backcourt the following year w/ Shayok and Moss plus Thompson upfront and the talent gap w/ KU is smaller than it's been in a long time.

Yes they are. Cam Johnson was one of he two year guys.

Not a dumb question. Yes, they are all 1 year players eligible immediately. The 2 year grad transfer you are thinking of is Cam Johnson from Pitt. about a week ago he listed ISU as a school that had contacted him but there's been nothing since.

I'd get drunk on Koolaid with any of the 3.

Most past years I'm going with Egor as he's an incredibly efficient player, but Brown and Alstork seem to playmaker.

And Cam Johnson may trump them all.
