***Official 2017 Transfer Thread***

Supposedly he's from same hometown as Calipari and projections I've seen has him going to UK. (Limited research on those things, I hadn't checked Johnson until the past day).
As if Calipari needed such fortuitous bounces. They're also in on some of the elite undecided preps, but they'll make room if needed.

A project for anyone invested in this topic: Compile a list of our wish-list transfers/jucos sprinkled throughout the thread, maybe categorized in probable-to-unlikely — or any organization you see fit.

I'd like to catalog it, but I won't have enough time to do it properly (but I'd like to see it).

A site I accidentally found (thanks, The Internet!) — not sure if it's the best source, but it has frequent updates about availability and commitments, and sortable by position, star-ranking, class, height, et al.

Intriguing for transfer-obsessed armchair analysts (TOAA's)

Isn't he a grad transfer with 2 years to play? Yeah, pipedream #1.
I agree he'd be a tough get, but Kentucky seems odd. He'd have like 5 or 6 five star freshmen around who can all play each position he would. Seems kinda risky for exposure, not saying he wouldnt earn the minutes over the youngsters but why risk getting buried on the bench.

Isaiah Mike might be a good sit out alternative though with the same kind of game/potential. Not quite as polished yet I wouldn't think but the skills/length seem to be there. Prohm talks about liking long guards, like Babb, who can dribble, pass, and shoot.

I've read that UK is in real need of some 3p shooting in both the backcourt and frontcourt. This guy's fits that bill, right?

It does, even with 2 years and likely being just as good. But I've given up on why more kids don't value the economics of there being only one ball or so many shots, and why they wouldn't jump at the chance to be the go-to option in replacing almost 90% of a top-25 team's scoring.

I completely forgot about that kid. l'm surprised this 4 for 1 hasn't gotten more press. He's a late bloomer from Canada, and he does seem similar to Johnson. Not to be greedy, but he's got so much upside that I'd take him over the UVa guard, but we really can't go wrong.

Official word. Morrow seems like a good fit for the program. Would be an ideal replacement for what Prohm was trying to get in Feazell IMO and still have two years left. If he could work on his outside shot he'd be a very good PF in the system.
