I am going to the game on Friday with two college buddies.... and my Mother. I am so pumped. Bleacher seats. First time in the Bleachers, any suggestions?

Went to a Wednesday afternoon game a few weeks back. Got in line about an hour before the gates opened and got to the front row in left field. I'm sure it'll be a little busier Friday but it's a pretty short and sweet process, as we were first-timers too. There are always a few loud idiots out there, but that's to be expected. Also, you need to get a bracelet before you can buy booze. At least we did.

Get just drunk enough that you can remember the game and the celebration at the bar afterwards.

Also, try not to puke on your mom. That usually doesn't go over well.

When you go in under the bleachers, go directly to the left of the main bar to the first concession stands at the ground level, they have Old Style on tap there. It's not everywhere in the stadium like it used to be.
Drink a lot of them.

My Mediacom guide tells me that we're getting this one, so probably not.

It will be blacked out in the Cubs home market, which includes Iowa.

DirecTV guide tells me it will be on KDSM tonight.

Isn't that the truth? Is it showing on KDSM for you or KCWI?

Says KDSM.....KCWI is playing The Flash at 7pm. Guess we'll find out for sure in about 45 minutes. Usually the DTV guide is pretty reliable.

I'd also like to take a moment and complain that we even have to try to figure this out. Best team in baseball with a massive fanbase and we can't do simple TV.

I agree, but it's pretty easy to figure out. Unless ESPN has exclusive rights (ie Sunday Night Baseball), it will be blacked out in each team's home market.

the good part about Jake walking the last two batters is it got Kazmir out of the game. Let's see if we can't do a little better against the bullpen.
