Or because he has some interest in it someday. Someday for something very special came really quick though and the special clearly got less special. My guess is 3 things added to that more than anything Pollard did:
1. BDJ situation. Negotiating a truce with neighbors and cops over loud music and temper tantrums not so Fun.
2. Fan Melt Downs Over Outsized Expectations. No explanation needed.
3. Failure to land the big fish recruiting after kissing teenager's ***** for years.

If having to negotiate a truce over a noise complaint is worse than having to deal with Nader and Thomas OWI's then I don't know what to think anymore.

It should be. I'm down on Fred right now but I'm still going to believe he'd be more upset about players on his team putting their own and others lives in danger moreso than some loud music because I know he's a good guy and he has a family. Let me know when someone dies from a college kid playing his music too loud in an apartment. I'll hang up and listen.

No announcements today

Hoiberg has yet to be contacted by the Bulls. Per CBS Sports

Nobody has contacted the Bulls about taking over Thibs contract. Per CBS Sports

Flips Saunders said he is going to coach at least 1 more year. So Fred probably not going to the T-Wolves.

The fact they have not spoken to Hoiberg, pretty much indicates they are not willing to fire Thibs, and if no team cuts them a deal what then. I mean if they were planning on firing the guy anyway why not just make the deal with Fred and be done. Guys like Stacey King saying Thibs is with the Bulls next year.

Saying he is gone just not adding up here.
